Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a Horse Evening Feed Team Member, where your passion for animal care and farm operations will help ensure the health and well-being of our horses. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and distributing feed, adding supplements as required, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and supporting overall horse husbandry practices. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will foster the health and happiness of our equine residents. Duties Prepare and distribute feed to horses according to their individual dietary needs, along with any supplements required. Provide hay, both inside barn and in pastures Fill water, both inside barn and in pastures Bring horses into barn and turn back out into pastures. Monitor horses during feeding for signs of colic, injury, or changes in appetite, and report any concerns to senior staff. Clean stalls as needed after feeding. Put on blankets as needed during winter months. Skills

MUST HAVE

prior experience handling horses and understanding equine behavior. Comfortable being alone at the barn in the evening. Excellent communication skills Ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting feed bags and hay bales up to 50 lbs. Ability to work independently. All applicants must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation. Feeding begins no earlier than 6pm. This position is available Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday nights.
