Outdoor Beverage Sales Associate at Carolina Coastal Cafe (CaCoCa)

Position Type:

Part-time / Seasonal (outdoor shifts during peak hours)

Competitive hourly pay + tips (great earning potential in our high-traffic, welcoming coastal location) Carolina Coastal Cafe is a family-run gem in the heart of historic Southport, serving fresh comfort food for every mood! From hearty breakfasts all day and Southern-inspired lunches to our full coffee/espresso bar and delicious baked goods, we create a warm, coastal vibe where locals and visitors feel right at home. Our menu features crowd favorites like cinnamon rolls, loaded fries, Nashville hot tenders, fresh salads, and more—paired perfectly with refreshing beverages. We're expanding our outdoor presence and looking for a friendly, energetic Beverage Sales Associate to sell and serve beverages right in front of the restaurant. This is a fun, customer-facing role perfect for someone who loves the outdoors, chatting with people, and representing our welcoming coastal cafe.

Key Responsibilities:

Enthusiastically sell and serve a variety of beverages to passersby and cafe guests, including: Beer and wine (must be 21+) Dirty sodas and specialty sodas Regular soft drinks, coffee/espresso drinks, and other refreshments Maintain a clean, attractive outdoor beverage station and display Provide excellent customer service with a smile—make every interaction fun and memorable in our friendly Southport community Work collaboratively with our small, dedicated team to support overall cafe flow Follow all ABC regulations, food safety, and alcohol service guidelines

Requirements:

Must be 21 years or older (due to alcohol service) Outgoing personality with strong communication skills and a positive, upbeat attitude Reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in various weather (coastal breezes welcome!) Previous customer service, sales, or bartending experience a plus, but we provide training Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light items (beverage supplies) Passion for great food, community, and creating a welcoming experience Why Join Our Team?
