We're looking for upbeat professionals with a passion for food to join our deli/seafood market(Luna Market) and wine/seafood bar(Mångata Wine & Raw Bar) team inside Brewhalla food hall! Sustainable food products are at the core of what we do across the various concepts within our locally owned restaurant group, and it's our privilege to be able to provide the same quality ingredients to our local community. On top of an hourly wage, this is also a tipped position with average wages+tips listed in the pay rate section. This is a combo BOH and FOH position so both cooking skills and people skills are required. Some server experience is a plus. This particular job is a hybrid role that gives you a little taste of everything, so if you have been looking for ways to expand your culinary experience, come check us out. You will be customer facing so social skills are a must. You must be 21+ and a server card is required.

Required Experience/ Skill:

Excellent customer service, communication and math skills Desire to broaden knowledge and understanding of the food industry Ability/Willingness to learn basic knife skills Ability/Willingness to learn proper use of kitchen equipment including but not limited to; meat slicer, panini press, product scale Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to work in a team oriented setting Ability to lift up to 60 lbs Ability to stand for long periods of time Knowledge of fish/seafood/meat handling and processing Some bartending experience is preferable

Primary Expectations:

Able to process sales including proper weighing, packaging, and maintaining inventory Provide responsive, exceptional service to market & deli counter customers by answering questions, making recommendations, providing samples, and responding to requests. Follows all health, safety, and security standards established by the company and other regulatory agencies Able to monitor inventory and restock product as needed Preparation and handling of raw and ready to eat foods General kitchen cleaning Our mission statement: To provide our neighborhood and surrounding community with friendly service and an expanded version of our unique meat, cheese, wine, and prepared food items to also include fresh seafood, butchery, specialty pantry goods and grab & go plates.
