Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking enthusiastic and friendly Ice Cream Scoopers to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while serving delicious ice cream treats. You will engage with customers, take orders, and ensure a delightful experience for everyone who visits our shop. If you have a passion for ice cream and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! Must be 18 or over to apply. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Scoop and serve ice cream, toppings, and other menu items with care and attention to detail. Handle cash register transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. Upsell additional items or promotions to enhance the customer experience. Maintain cleanliness in the serving area, and kitchen to ensure a hygienic environment. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including preparing cones, cups, and toppings. Follow food handling safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of products served. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service. Experience Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices is a plus; training will be provided for all new hires. Experience operating a cash register or POS system is beneficial. A background in the food industry or kitchen environment is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Wages will be hourly based on experience, plus tips.
