Position Summary Are you energetic, friendly, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service? Francy's Artisanal Ice Cream is looking for enthusiastic Ice Cream Scoopers to join our team. As an Ice Cream Scooper, you will be the face of our shop, serving guests with a smile while scooping our premium artisanal flavors. You will work closely with the General Manager and fellow team members to create a welcoming atmosphere, maintain high cleanliness standards, and ensure every customer enjoys an exceptional experience. Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver an Exceptional Guest Experience Greet every customer with enthusiasm and a friendly attitude. Answer questions about menu offerings and flavor profiles. Offer samples and make recommendations. Provide prompt, professional, and memorable service. Expert Scooping & Product Preparation Accurately scoop and serve ice cream according to company portion standards. Prepare milkshakes, sundaes, and other menu items. Ensure product presentation meets Francy's quality standards. Cash Handling & Point of Sale (POS) Process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately. Operate the POS system efficiently. Maintain balanced cash drawers and follow company procedures. Cleanliness & Food Safety Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, counters, display cases, and seating areas. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Complete daily cleaning and closing tasks. Inventory Support Monitor ice cream displays, toppings, supplies, and packaging inventory. Restock products and rotate inventory as needed. Notify management when supplies are running low. Team Collaboration Work effectively with managers and teammates during busy periods. Assist with opening and closing procedures. Support a positive, hardworking, and team-oriented culture. Requirements & QualificationsRequired Friendly, positive, and dependable personality. Strong customer service mindset and commitment to hospitality. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive scooping motions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently after training. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Preferred Previous customer service, retail, food service, or hospitality experience. Cash handling or POS experience. Passion for food, desserts, or artisanal products. No prior ice cream experience is required. We are happy to train the right candidate.
