Duties Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders efficiently. Manage customer transactions with cash register operations, processing cash, credit card payments, and handling refunds or exchanges professionally. Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products to enhance guest experience. Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing food prep areas, dining surfaces, and kitchen equipment to uphold food safety standards. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including fryers, grills, ovens, and food handling tools. Ensure food safety compliance by following sanitation procedures, proper food handling practices, and adhering to health regulations at all times. Skills Proven experience in food preparation within quick service or fast food restaurants. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth order processing. Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods with speed and accuracy. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and effective communication abilities. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory counts. Knowledge of food safety management practices including sanitation, proper food handling, and cleanliness standards. Previous experience operating kitchen equipment and managing food industry standards is highly desirable.
