Responsibilities Assist with food preparation and cooking, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations Support menu planning by preparing ingredients and assisting with daily kitchen operations Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards throughout all stages of food handling and storage Handle food with care, following proper knife skills and food handling procedures to ensure safety and efficiency Contribute to meal preparation for various service types, including catering events and fine dining experiences Support kitchen team members in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and inventory management Serve as a reliable team player by supporting front-of-house staff during busy service periods when needed Experience Previous experience in Latin Carribean foods Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or catering environments Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and culinary techniques preferred Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry Fine dining experience or working in upscale restaurant settings is a plus Demonstrated knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food industry standards, and catering operations ServPro certification.
