Job Description
Frankie's Bar & Grill is looking for a dependable and hardworking Salad / Prep Person to join our restaurant team. Candidate must be able to work weekends . This position is responsible for preparing fresh salads, cold items, dressings, garnishes, and other prep items while keeping the station clean, organized, and ready for service. Responsibilities
- Prepare salads, cold appetizers, dressings, vegetables, and other menu items according to restaurant standards.
- Wash, chop, slice, portion, label, and store ingredients properly.
- Set up and stock the salad/prep station before and during service.
- Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards for consistency.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area throughout the shift.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
- Assist with general kitchen prep and closing duties as needed.
- Communicate with kitchen staff and management about product needs or shortages. Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, kitchen, salad, pantry, or prep experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow directions, recipes, and food safety procedures.
- Good knife skills and attention to detail are a plus.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team.
