Pneuma | Westwood, New Jersey Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available Pneuma is an all-day café, restaurant, and market opening in Westwood, New Jersey. We are looking for friendly, energetic, and dependable Front of House Crew Members to join our opening team. This position works primarily behind our food counter, helping guests order, serving and finishing food, operating the register, and keeping the counter running smoothly throughout the day. The Role Front of House Crew Members are one of the main points of contact between Pneuma and our guests. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position similar to working the counter at a great pizza shop, bakery, or specialty food market. You will help guests navigate the menu, take orders, prepare and reheat items for service, package food, and ring up purchases. We are looking for people who are friendly, quick, organized, and genuinely enjoy taking care of customers. Responsibilities Greet guests and provide friendly, efficient service. Take customer orders accurately and answer questions about the menu. Operate the POS system and process cash and credit card transactions. Serve pizza, prepared foods, sandwiches, salads, and other menu items. Reheat, finish, and package food according to Pneuma's service standards. Properly portion and present food for dine-in and takeout orders. Coordinate with the kitchen to keep orders moving quickly and accurately. Maintain stocked and attractive food displays throughout the day. Package retail and prepared food items as needed. Monitor product levels and communicate when items need to be replenished. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked counter. Keep guest-facing areas clean throughout the shift. Restock packaging, utensils, napkins, condiments, and other supplies. Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures. Complete opening, closing, and cleaning responsibilities. Support other front-of-house positions as needed. What We're Looking For Previous experience in a pizza shop, café, bakery, deli, fast-casual restaurant, market, or counter-service restaurant is a plus, but not required. We are happy to train people who have the right personality and work ethic. Most importantly, we're looking for people who: Are friendly and comfortable interacting with customers.
