The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and customer service, ensuring that each sandwich is made to perfection while providing an exceptional dining experience. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a quick-service setting. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS, for processing orders and payments. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations to enhance the dining experience. Upsell menu items to increase sales while maintaining a friendly demeanor with customers. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist with food handling, including stocking ingredients and managing inventory levels. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or culinary roles is preferred but not required. Familiarity with quick service or fast food restaurant operations is advantageous. Experience with cashiering and customer service in a retail or food industry setting is beneficial. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory effectively. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards in food preparation.
