The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment. This role requires excellent customer service skills and a commitment to food safety standards. Duties Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to customer specifications and company recipes. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, including food preparation surfaces and equipment. Operate the Aloha POS system for order processing and cash handling. Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their orders and addressing any inquiries. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards throughout all food preparation processes. Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow during peak hours. Requirements Previous experience in food service or a kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus. Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor for effective customer interactions. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. A passion for creating delicious food and providing outstanding service is essential.
