Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience, and handle cash register operations with precision. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food prep areas, dining zones, and food handling stations, adhering to sanitation and food safety guidelines. Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and excellent service. Operate kitchen equipment safely for food preparation tasks, including slicing, toasting, and assembling ingredients. Uphold food safety standards by practicing proper sanitation procedures, handling food responsibly, and monitoring cleanliness throughout shifts. Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is highly preferred; culinary or café experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in processing transactions. Strong time management skills are essential for balancing multiple tasks during busy hours. Demonstrated ability in food handling, safety management, and sanitation practices ensures compliance with health regulations. Customer service experience is vital for creating positive interactions that encourage repeat visits. Basic math skills are necessary for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing sales accurately. Prior retail sales or cashiering experience will support your success in operating registers smoothly while upselling menu items.
