Summary As a Deli Associate at Village Super Market, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our customers while preparing and serving delicious deli products. This position is essential in maintaining our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Prepare and serve deli items according to company standards. Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling when appropriate. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the deli counter. Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Requirements Previous experience in food handling or deli operations preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Basic math skills for handling transactions and pricing.
