Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Car Hop, where you'll be the friendly face delivering exceptional customer service in a lively, fast-paced food service environment. As a vital link between the kitchen and our guests, you'll ensure orders are accurately delivered with enthusiasm and professionalism. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine culinary knowledge, sales skills, and outstanding customer service to create memorable dining experiences. Whether taking orders at the window or providing quick, efficient service, your energy and attention to detail will make a difference every day. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders with accuracy and enthusiasm. Deliver hot, fresh meals directly to customers' vehicles or designated areas promptly and professionally. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments. Upsell menu items by recommending specials or add-ons to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food service area, including bussing tables and ensuring food safety standards are met. Assist with food preparation when needed, following proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers quickly while maintaining high service standards. Support team members by performing basic kitchen duties, restocking supplies, and ensuring smooth operation of the café or quick-service environment. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to communicate clearly. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in culinary arts, serving, bussing tables, or grocery retail can be advantageous but is not mandatory.
