Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Counter Staff member. As a Counter Staff, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at our establishment. This is a paid position that offers opportunities for growth and development within the food industry.Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm and welcoming attitude
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately using the POS system
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and food handling guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, including wiping tables, sweeping floors, and emptying trash bins
- Assist customers with any inquiries or concerns they may have
- Upsell additional menu items or promotions to increase sales
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
