Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of deli products. You will play a key role in maintaining food safety standards and ensuring that our customers have a pleasant shopping experience. Responsibilities Slice deli meats & cheeses Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area in accordance with food safety regulations. Take customers' orders Run a register Make subs and scoop ice cream Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies and produce as needed. Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of products. Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow during peak hours. Requirements Must be 18 or older Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Be able to multitask and see what needs done and go from one area to another rapidly Ability to work flexible hours potentially including Saturdays 9:30-5:30 and Sundays 10:30-4:30 (Always closed on Mondays) Looking for both part time and full time so candidates looking for either are encouraged to apply Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs at a time.
