This position will ensure the highest quality of animal care and maintain the integrity of Meyer Hatchery at all times. It includes egg collection, cleaning, sorting general maintenance, egg delivery to the hatchery shipping area and other assigned locations, and maintaining the health of the breeder birds. The position is full-time. Use humane animal handling techniques when caring for and handling breeder birds Daily visual evaluation of all facility barns ensuring all equipment, barn conditions, temperatures, medications, waters, and feeders are in order Daily egg collection Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in each barn facility - sweeping, disposing of trash, assuring pens are clean and in excellent condition. Monitor health and welfare of breeder birds Implement, practice, and uphold strict bio-security measures.
