Overview Join our vibrant team as a Front Counter Team Member! We are primarily looking for reliable team members who have experience dealing with Indian Food. Knowledge and experience as Indian Restaurant Food Runner. Knowledge and experience on POS systems - will train if no experience on POS. You'll be one of the friendly faces greeting customers, taking orders, preparing and serving food, and helping keep our restaurant running smoothly. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers and being part of a team.

Longer shifts may be available Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with orders at the front counter. Operate the Square POS system accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts. Prepare and serve breakfast and other menu items following food safety and sanitation standards. Help ensure orders are prepared and handed to customers quickly and accurately. Upsell menu items and make recommendations to customers when appropriate. Maintain cleanliness of the front counter, dining area, and service stations. Bus tables, sanitize surfaces, restock supplies, and help maintain a clean restaurant. Handle cash transactions, give correct change, and follow proper cash-handling procedures. Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation and other tasks when needed. Work as part of the team during busy breakfast, lunch, and dinner periods. Skills & Qualifications Previous restaurant, food service, cashier, or customer service experience is preferred. Familiarity with Square POS is helpful but not required; training can be provided. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Willingness to assist with both front-counter service and basic food preparation. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is preferred. Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions. Dependable, punctual, positive, and willing to learn.

Pay:

$10.00 - $14.00 per hour
