Job Description:
Individual will be highly skilled and hands-on re-development team member. Good attitude, pride in their work, clean up daily after all projects. This role combines field leadership with technical expertise across multiple trades and requires strong communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Ability to read a tape measure and use basic power and hand tools
- Basic carpentry skills
- Light plumbing knowledge- Install vanities. Install kitchen sinks, shower valves, replace shut offs, replace faucets, p-traps
- Ability to measure, cut and install trim and doors, install doorknobs, cut and router doors and hinges. Install countertops and cabinets
- Light electrical knowledge- Replace outlets, install 3-way switches, install GFCI outlets, replace breakers, install light fixtures, ceiling fans
- Knowledge of appliance installation-Range, dishwasher, over-the-range microwave, refrigerator, disposals, clothes washers and dryers
- Knowledge of drywall repair, paint and caulk
- Inspect units before and after turnover to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Address maintenance and cleaning issues promptly to ensure timely completion.
- Ability to troubleshoot and make changes and suggestions as required to scope and/or materials to facilitate the schedule and complete necessary work items in a timely manner, this is a deadline driven position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Knowledge of general maintenance procedures and practices including but not limited to drywall/painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC
- Must be available for daily travel to various sites as needed and the ability to work independently when required
- Basic knowledge of computer operation and smart phone applications for reporting purposes
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
