Job Description
Job Description Genesis Village is a well-established, independent living community that has many opportunities for employment growth. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working as a part of a team within our lively senior community! The Food Service Associate performs essential food service functions, including preparation/serving of food items, stocking of supplies and buffet line, assisting residents and guests, and catering special events along with other various food service duties. Job Responsibilities Reports directly to the Dining Room Manager and Director of Dining Services and provides help on food service activities. Keeps work and service area in a safe, sanitary, and orderly manner. Setup/cleanup dining room and cafe for meals and special events. Assists residents and guests in the dining room including carrying trays and filling drinks. Delivers to and picks up meals from residents' apartments when needed. Follows all safety and sanitation standards set by the company, state, and federal agencies. Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
