Job Description
Overview Our client, a medical facility, is seeking associates for their Food and Nutrition Department. Candidates need to be available for a noon to 8:30pm schedule, 5 days per week to include every other weekend. Responsibilities Delivering patient trays to patients, helping them open items if needed Delivering carts to the units for other staff to pass trays, retrieving empty carts Expediting patient trays to make sure all items are on the trays correctly Stocking nourishment rooms on different units with non perishable food items Adhere to strict food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and workplace safety procedures at all times Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and dining areas through regular sanitation and bussing tasks Qualifications Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly desirable Knowledge of food preparation, food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and supporting meal service processes Strong time management skills to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
