We're looking for an outgoing, dependable Deli / Meat Counter Associate who enjoys talking with customers and being part of a lively team. If you like getting to know people, making recommendations, and staying busy, you'll fit right in here. This role puts you front and center. You'll be preparing products, helping customers one-on-one, and making sure everything looks fresh and inviting. It's fast-paced, hands-on, and perfect for someone who brings a little personality to their work. What you'll be doing: Slicing, weighing, and packaging deli and meat products Talking with customers, answering questions, and helping them find what they need Keeping your area clean, organized, and well-stocked Working as part of a team that keeps the energy up throughout the day What we're looking for: Someone who genuinely enjoys interacting with people Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable starting conversations Reliable and takes pride in their work Able to keep up in a fast-paced environment If you're the kind of person who would rather be talking with customers than standing around waiting for the next task, you'll do well here. Compensation:

$16.50 - $17.50 hourly

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers at the deli and meat counter Slice, weigh, wrap, and label meats and cheeses accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Stock cases and rotate products as needed Answer customer questions and make product recommendations Work as part of a team to keep operations running smoothly

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age Customer service experience required Deli experience preferred Meat-cutting experience preferred Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40lbs Basic math skills for weighing and pricing items Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented About Company This posting is for Locals' Market in Dillsburg, PA, a subsidiary of Weaver's of Wellsville.
