Job Overview Game Night Pizza is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Person to join our team for our Camillo's Italian Restaurant and Bar location in Kutztown. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while assisting with food preparation and handling. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for culinary arts, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Quickly answer phone orders for delivery and pick up Handle food safely and maintain proper food handling procedures. Operate the POS system for processing transactions and managing orders. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, including bussing tables as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food delivery. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy setting. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Knowledge of food handling safety regulations is desirable.
