About Us Lancaster Beignet Co. is a locally owned cafe in the heart of downtown Lancaster, specializing in fresh, New Orleans-style beignets, specialty coffee, and beignet sandwiches. We take pride in providing high-quality food and beverages in a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere. We're looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Cafe Team Member to join our cafe. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service while helping keep daily cafe operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Assist with preparing, cooking, and serving our signature beignets, breakfast sandwiches, and other menu items. Package food orders accurately and efficiently for dine-in, takeout, and delivery. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace throughout each shift. Follow established food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service, particularly during busy periods. Assist with food preparation, opening, closing, restocking, and general cafe operations as needed. Qualifications Previous cafe, restaurant, food service, or customer service experience preferred, but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours. Dependable, punctual, and committed to being a supportive team member. Attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine physical tasks associated with cafe operations. Weekend availability required.
