Beer & Deli Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while preparing and serving delicious deli products. You will play a key role in maintaining the quality and presentation of our food offerings, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all patrons. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, adhering to food safety standards. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer transactions. Assist customers with their selections, providing recommendations and upselling additional products. Handle food items with care, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed. Skills Strong math skills for accurate pricing and transactions. Experience with POS systems for efficient checkout processes. Background in kitchen or culinary settings is preferred. Familiarity with quick service fast food restaurant environments is a plus. Ability to upsell products effectively to enhance customer satisfaction. Experience in food service or handling food products safely.
