Feast Your Eyes Company Description Feast Your Eyes is a premier catering company based in Philadelphia. Founded in 1982, Feast provides full-service and drop-off catering for events of all sizes and styles. Our team focuses on the entire event experience, making sure that the design, service staff, and menu all work together to elevate our clients' special events. With our pulse on the global culinary scene and a team of chefs with diverse backgrounds, Feast combines the best of international fare with our favorite Philly foods. Job Summary The Catering Pantry Team Member plays a critical role in both the preparation and operational logistics of our catering events. This position is responsible for packing and organizing event goods and equipment, ensuring all materials arrive safely and with care at venues, and making sure equipment and event items are properly returned and organized. The ideal candidate is highly organized, works efficiently under pressure, and maintains impeccable food safety standards. This is not a job like at Amazon.
Key Responsibilities Event Pack-Out:
Read event orders to accurately pull, count, and pack all necessary china, glassware, silverware, linens, and service equipment.
Logistics & Transport:
Organize and safely load and unload company catering vehicles before and after events.
Inventory Control:
Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and rotate ingredients using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
Sanitation & Kitchen Safety:
Maintain a spotless workspace by washing dishes, sanitizing stations, and disposing of waste according to health department rules.
Post-Event Breakdown:
Unpack returned event crates, sort equipment, wash rental items, and return inventory to its proper storage location.
Plating & Presentation:
Garnish and arrange food trays cleanly and professionally according to chef specifications.
Delivery:
Deliver catered and takeout orders and setting up when necessary. Qualifications & Requirements 1-3 years of experience in a kitchen, catering, high-volume hospitality, or operations environment preferred. We will train the right candidate. Valid local Food Handler's card or ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days). Ability to stand and walk for shifts up to 8-10 hours and comfortably lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Availability to work dynamic shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal packing lists and directions exactly. Valid driver's license and ability to safely drive trucks/vans with a driving record required. Professional, positive communication with colleagues, clients, and vendors. Comfort working independently and as part of a team. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Fast-paced, collaborative team environment. Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, and on uneven terrain.
