Food Service Associate Job Description We are seeking a motivated Food Service Associate to join our dynamic healthcare and food service team in the Pittsburgh, PA area. This role offers the chance to engage in a variety of tasks and interact with a diverse clientele in a fast-paced environment. The position is flexible with the potential to transition to a full-time or part-time permanent role. Responsibilities Prepare, serve, and distribute food in various areas of the department, including the tray line, dish room, cafeteria, and storeroom. Assist as a Cashier and work in the Dish Room & Utility/Sanitation, and as a Dipper. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by management. Essential Skills Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent attention to detail and service knowledge. Exceptional communication and organizational skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior food service experience is preferred. Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Basic reading, writing, and communication skills. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburgh, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
