Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Front of House team member to join our team. This role focuses on register operations, customer interaction, and maintaining a smooth and welcoming front-of-house experience. Duties Operate POS system (Square) efficiently and accurately Provide clear, friendly, and attentive customer service Handle transactions and maintain register flow during peak hours Restock front-of-house items and maintain cleanliness Support opening and closing duties Maintain awareness of the space, customers, and team needs Assist with food handling, preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest relations are positive Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple tasks Requirements Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as required for food service duties Customer service or hospitality experience preferred Able to lift up to 25 lbs Must be able to commute reliably (walkable preferred) Core Competencies We Look For Hardworking & Proactive Strong communication and active listening Attention to detail and cleanliness Reliability and time management Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Customer awareness and hospitality instinct Problem-solving and adaptability Coachable with a fast learning pace Strong presence and situational awareness Benefits Career advancement opportunities Paid training Employee discount Free food and coffee during shifts Flexible scheduling and days off Hiring Process Application review Short in-person interview Paid trial run to assess fit and performance
