Job Summary Join our family-owned pizza shop as a passionate Sandwich Maker, where you will play a vital role in crafting delicious sandwiches and providing exceptional customer service. Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches using fresh ingredients according to established recipes and customer preferences Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, ovens, and toasters efficiently and safely Manage food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times Process customer orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and processing sales transactions Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment Assist with stocking supplies, rotating ingredients, and managing inventory levels to prevent shortages Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and ensuring a positive dining experience Skills Proven experience in food preparation, fast food or quick service restaurant environments preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and cash register operations Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards in the food industry Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, change calculation, and inventory management Customer service-oriented attitude with effective communication skills Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and maintaining a clean workspace Join us in delivering delicious sandwiches with a smile!
