Job Description

6:00AM-7:30PM, 4 days a week including every other weekend. Guides patients on order based on their prescribed diet. Ensure meals/services provided to patients/customers are done as professionally, accurately and timely as possible. Must be an excellent communicator and relay identified problems to appropriate leader in an accurate and timely manner. Processes and communicates all patients' diet orders/tube feedings/nourishments/supplements with updates to the patient's card-file. Responsible for patient information/orders entry into CBORD. Prints and Generates patient meal tickets/labels/reports/tallies in an accurate and timely manner. Maintains open communication with Clinical Dietitians regarding nutrition consults, patient needs, problems and questions. Must maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in work area; Must always uphold and practice proper personal and hand hygiene; These responsibilities contribute to meeting the nutrition needs of the patients and all others served; Completes any other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Coordinator or Management.
Job Qualifications:
High school Diploma or GED equivalent and/or three-years' work experience required Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions regarding logs, sanitation, patient care, and infection control policies Knowledge of computers and data entry Must have strong customer service and communication skills, able to read and write required Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
