Duties Greeting guests warmly, and seat them promptly to ensure a positive first impression. Taking accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Square POS, while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales. Serving food and drinks efficiently, including spirits and wine service, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety. Processing cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling duties with integrity and precision. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting in food handling and preparation when needed. Providing excellent guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, dietary needs, or special requests with enthusiasm and professionalism. Supporting the team during busy hours by assisting with food prep, stocking supplies, and ensuring smooth flow between front and back of house operations. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as host/hostess, server, or bartender is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems including Square POS, or similar platforms. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during high-volume periods. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and a focus on guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately. Understanding of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
