Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dependable Moving Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate moving operations, ensuring smooth and efficient relocations for our clients. As a key team leader, you will motivate and guide a crew of movers, manage logistics, and uphold safety standards throughout each move. Your leadership will help deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead dynamic moving projects and develop your skills in transportation and team management. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of movers during residential or commercial relocations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely Coordinate load and unload activities, ensuring proper handling of furniture, boxes, and equipment using appropriate lifting techniques Drive box trucks or similar vehicles with automatic transmission to transport belongings between locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Manage route driving, planning efficient paths to meet schedule demands while maintaining safety standards Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary to load or unload heavy items Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the move Maintain safety procedures by enforcing proper lifting techniques, using personal protective equipment, and reporting hazards promptly Skills Proven experience in moving services or warehouse environments with heavy lifting involved Valid driving license with experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles with auto transmission Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally Familiarity with delivery driver responsibilities including route planning and load management Experience in heavy lifting, manual labor, and physically demanding tasks required for moving projects Knowledge of safety protocols related to moving, driving and manual handling techniques Join our team as a Moving Crew Leader where your leadership skills will drive successful relocations while providing outstanding service.
