We're hiring a Sandwich & Bakery Prep team member to create fresh, delicious sandwiches and assist with bakery ingredient preparation, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
Responsibilities:
Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to recipes, portion guidelines, and guest preferences. Prepare doughs, and baked goods following recipes Assist bakers with timely preparation of baked goods while ensuring quality standards. Decorate baked goods with toppings for an appealing presentation. Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene. Monitor ingredient levels, restock as needed, and report supply needs to management. Keep workstation, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in proper working order. Provide friendly, accurate, and efficient customer service. Perform additional kitchen, front-of-house, or administrative duties as assigned by management to support daily bagel shop operations
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months of experience in baking or pastry production preferred High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States. Valid Texas Food Handler's Certificate required, or must be obtained within 30 days of hire in accordance with state regulations. Demonstrated ability to follow strict safety and sanitation standards. • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Physical Requirements:
Lift or move up to 40 lbs (flour, trays, equipment) Standing throughout a scheduled shift. Bending, stretching and kneeling to reach certain products or clean certain areas of the restaurant. Regular use of hands and arms for operating machines and tools.

Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
