As a key part of our morning team, you'll be responsible for preparing delicious food, managing customer orders efficiently, and maintaining a clean and welcoming workspace. Your positive attitude and dedication will set the tone for a great day for both guests and colleagues alike! Responsibilities Prepare fresh food items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met consistently. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining area, and workspace to meet food safety standards. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give accurate change while maintaining accountability. Assist in upselling menu items to boost sales and enhance the guest experience through friendly recommendations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all food safety management protocols. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or fast-food restaurant environments. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy morning hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions. Knowledge of sanitation practices, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment operation. Previous retail or grocery store experience is a plus but not required; a passion for the food industry is essential.
