This position is perfect for someone looking for 1-2 solid shifts per week while still being part of a fast-paced kitchen environment. Our schedule changes depending on events, bookings, and service locations, so the specific days needed may be different from week to week. What You'll Be Doing As a Breakfast & Lunch Team Member, you'll help with the entire food truck operation from morning preparation through the end of service.

Your responsibilities may include:

Arriving early to help prepare food for the day's service Prepping ingredients and organizing the kitchen before traveling to the service location Making sure the trailer is stocked and ready for the day Traveling with the BYOB team to scheduled locations and events Preparing and cooking food during breakfast and lunch service Taking, preparing, and fulfilling customer orders accurately Providing friendly and welcoming customer service Keeping up during high-volume and fast-paced rushes Maintaining a clean and organized workstation Restocking ingredients and supplies throughout service Helping close down the food trailer after service Washing dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, and other kitchen items Cleaning workstations, equipment, floors, and the trailer Properly storing food and completing closing procedures Helping prepare the truck and kitchen for the next service What We're Looking For Food truck work is a team effort. We're looking for someone who is willing to jump in wherever they're needed and can maintain a positive attitude even when the order screen starts filling up.

Ideal candidates should:

Have general kitchen and food preparation knowledge Be comfortable working around grills, fryers, and commercial kitchen equipment Be able to work quickly and efficiently during busy service periods Stay calm, focused, and productive under pressure Be friendly and professional when interacting with customers Communicate and work well with other team members Be dependable and arrive on time for early shifts Be willing to help with cooking, prep, customer service, cleaning, and closing Understand or be willing to learn proper food safety and sanitation procedures Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude Be comfortable standing and working for extended periods of time Have the flexibility to work different days from week to week Previous restaurant, food truck, fast-food, or kitchen experience is preferred, but reliability, attitude, and willingness to learn are extremely important to us. Schedule & Availability This is a part-time position working approximately 1-2 days per week , with shifts generally lasting 8-10 hours per day . This position will primarily work early morning, breakfast, and lunch shifts . Because BYOB operates a food truck and serves different events, businesses, and locations, the specific days needed may change from week to week. Applicants should have some flexibility in their weekly availability and understand that this is not necessarily a set Monday-through-Friday schedule.
