As part of a national organization that has served millions, we are dedicated to offering programs that foster growth, mentorship, and positive experiences for children and teens. Summary We are seeking a Concession Worker to join our team at the Boys & Girls Club of McAllen. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving food at our concession stand. Your contributions will help create a welcoming atmosphere for our members and support our mission of youth development. Responsibilities Prepare and serve food items in accordance with health and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service to all members and guests. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently. Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the concession area. Promote menu items through upselling techniques to enhance sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or customer service preferred. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic knowledge of food safety practices is a plus. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed.
