Duties Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and food safety. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly. Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards through regular bussing, food handling, and kitchen cleaning duties. Support food industry best practices by adhering to safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Assist in food prep tasks like slicing, packaging, and stocking supplies to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Engage in teamwork by supporting fellow crew members during busy periods and contributing to a positive work environment. Experience Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Culinary experience or background working in cafes, retail stores, or grocery environments is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during high-volume periods. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products naturally and confidently. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
