Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings Scoop ice cream accurately and efficiently using proper food handling techniques Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions smoothly Upsell additional toppings, sundaes, or specialty items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Maintain cleanliness of the serving area, including sanitizing scoops, counters, and utensils in accordance with food safety standards Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity during busy hours Support food preparation tasks like stocking supplies, refilling toppings, and cleaning equipment as needed Requirements Previous experience in food service, retail, or a quick service restaurant environment is preferred but not required Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to serve customers efficiently during busy periods Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced setting Previous experience in culinary settings or grocery stores is advantageous but not mandatory Join us and be part of a fun-loving team dedicated to delivering delightful treats while honing your skills in food preparation, customer service, and retail operations!
