ProMove LLC is looking for an experienced, dependable Lead Mover / Crew Leader who can take charge of moving and delivery jobs from start to finish. This is more than a regular mover position. We need someone who can lead a crew, communicate professionally with customers, protect furniture and property, and help keep each job organized and running efficiently. The right person will have the opportunity to grow into a management or operations position as ProMove continues expanding. Responsibilities Lead moving and delivery crews on residential, commercial, antique, and white-glove jobs Run jobs from start to finish while keeping the crew organized and productive Complete customer walkthroughs and create safe loading and unloading plans Assign responsibilities to crew members Properly pad, wrap, protect, load, secure, transport, and unload furniture Protect customers' homes, flooring, walls, doorways, and belongings Communicate professionally with customers before, during, and after each job Train new movers on ProMove's service and safety standards Inspect trucks, cargo vans, moving equipment, straps, blankets, dollies, and other supplies Complete required paperwork, job photos, damage inspections, and customer confirmations Help resolve customer questions or concerns professionally Drive company cargo vans and 26-foot box trucks when needed Communicate with ownership about job progress, crew performance, scheduling, and equipment needs Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service Qualifications Previous moving, furniture-delivery, warehouse, logistics, or similar experience preferred Prior crew-leader or supervisory experience is strongly preferred Must be dependable, punctual, responsible, and able to hold crew members accountable Must communicate professionally with customers and coworkers Must understand proper furniture protection, loading, stacking, and cargo securement Must be organized and able to make good decisions independently Must be physically capable of lifting and moving heavy furniture throughout the workday Must be available for early mornings, long workdays, weekends, and occasional out-of-town or overnight jobs Experience driving cargo vans, trailers, or box trucks is preferred Valid driver's license and a good driving record are strongly preferred Must be interested in growing into a management or operations role Must treat customers, coworkers, equipment, and property with respect Background check and driving-record review may be required What We're Looking For We need someone who takes ownership of the job—not someone who waits to be told every step. Growth Opportunity This position can grow into a larger management or operations role. Increased responsibility may include training employees, managing crews, helping with scheduling, inspecting equipment, communicating with customers, and assisting with daily operations. Higher management pay will be available as responsibilities and performance increase.
