Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team. This role is essential in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for food, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include food preparation, cash handling, and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety. Duties Greet and assist customers with their orders in a friendly and professional manner. Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards while maintaining food safety protocols. Operate point-of-sale systems (Aloha POS or Micros POS) for order processing and cash handling. Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms in accordance with sanitation standards. Assist with bussing tables and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items. Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation. Qualifications Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred. Culinary experience or background in the food industry is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
