Responsibilities Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, and other menu items with precision and speed, ensuring quality standards are met consistently. Operate Toast Microsystem Must be able to prep food quickly and do other various tasks around the restaurant efficiently and effectively Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, including taking orders, customizing ingredients, and ensuring timely delivery. Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation guidelines, properly handling food, and operating kitchen equipment safely. Engage with customers through friendly service, upselling additional menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales. Process cash transactions accurately, handle cash register operations, and manage retail sales transactions with professionalism. Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices at all times. Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred, demonstrating ability to work efficiently in a high-energy environment. Familiarity with food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment operation, and food safety management is advantageous. Proven skills in cash handling, cashiering, and retail sales transactions using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros are desirable. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy hours. Experience in customer service roles within the food industry or grocery store environments is a plus. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing inventory levels confidently. Prior culinary or café experience can be beneficial in understanding food presentation and quality standards.
