Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while providing clear receipts and change. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales through friendly suggestions. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld throughout your shift. Assist with food preparation tasks in the kitchen or café area, supporting overall restaurant operations. Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple responsibilities such as serving customers, food handling, and food industry best practices. Requirements Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to communicate clearly. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
