Cashier Station:
Greet incoming guests, operate the point-of-sale (POS) register, manage cash handling, and field phone-in or online orders.
Butcher Block & Food Line:
Carve smoked proteins, scoop signature side dishes, enforce portion control, and construct neat, appealing dine-in or catering plates.
Utility & Maintenance:
Keep the self-serve beverage station clean, empty trash cans, sweep/mop floors, clean cooking equipment, and wash dishes.
Restocking:
Routinely monitor and refill food line items, ice bins, dining room cups, and signature barbecue sauces.
Pay Details:
Pit Crew Members are paid a straight hourly wage. There are no commissions, salary contracts, or piece-rate. Tip Sharing (Pool): On top of your base hourly pay, most locations use a digital and cash tip jar system. Tips collected throughout the shift are pooled together and distributed among the working crew members.

Weekends:
Mandatory availability is highly expected for Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday shifts.
Holidays:
Restaurants are typically open on major holidays (except Thanksgiving and Christmas, depending on the specific franchise owner). Expect to work holiday weekends, as they generate high demand for bulk barbecue party packs. No 24-Hour Shifts.
Food Handler Certificate:
Not required at hire; must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
Background requirements:
