Job Description
Trinity Episcopal School is currently seeking After-School Program Team Members for our K-8 Extended Day Program. About Trinity Episcopal School Trinity Episcopal School is an inclusive, forward-thinking, faith-based PK-8 independent school that meets each student where they are to nurture the whole child's academic, social, physical, emotional, and spiritual growth. Trinity is in West Lake Hills, close to downtown Austin, Texas. Overview After the Bell (ATB) offers a daily after-school program for our K-8 students. This program incorporates outdoor and indoor play options. We are looking for fun, personable, and confident team members capable of supervising and engaging students in group activities. Our ATB Team Members ensure the safety of children in the program while sparking their interest in discovery, promoting their personal growth, and encouraging their efforts. Team Members support an environment where fun and learning occur. Responsibilities
- Active supervision of students in the program.
- Cultivate a safe and positive environment.
- General program duties such as attendance tracking, communications, supply set-up. Reporting ATB Team Members report to the Director of Auxiliary Programs. Compensation Team Members commit to 2-5 shifts per week. The shift hours are 3:35-5:40 p.m.; shift pay is $57/shift. Paychecks are on a bi-monthly payment schedule. Preferred Qualifications
- Respect for and dedication to working with children while facilitating a safe environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a varied audience including children, parents, colleagues, and school personnel.
- Strong group management skills with the ability to use and model appropriate positive guidance.
