Job Summary Goolrick's is reopening, and we need team members to help recreate the magic that people have been enjoying for over 100 years! We are looking for qualified back of the house candidates to join our team! Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients to support the culinary team. Support meal assembly and plating to ensure timely delivery of high-quality dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, adhering to food safety guidelines at all times. Handle food products safely during storage, handling, and transportation within the kitchen. Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients according to specifications for various dishes. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Requirements Experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or the food industry is highly valued. Strong culinary skills including knife handling, cooking techniques, and meal preparation. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed.
