Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently to process transactions accurately, handle cash and credit card payments, and manage sales records. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food handling duties including bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods. Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end. Support team members in maintaining a clean, organized environment that promotes safety and efficiency throughout the restaurant. Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants, cafés, or grocery stores is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong skills in customer service, sales techniques, upselling strategies, and cash handling are essential. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is required. Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Basic math skills for cash transactions and retail math understanding are necessary. Prior experience in restaurant operations or the food industry will help you succeed in this energetic role.
