Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Back of House Team Member to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in ensuring that our back of house program, and guest needs, operate smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality service to our guests at the winery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wine, hospitality, strong problem solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards. Pay structure is starting hourly rate + tips (pooled with the tasting room team)
Availability Requirements :
Saturday's, with occasional Friday or Sunday availability as needed Duties Prepare menu items according to house standards. Collaborate with Tasting room manager, lead preparation needs for anticipated weekend reservation outlook. Ensure proper food handling and storage practices are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and tasting room area, including equipment and utensils, and guest facing spaces. Maintain flow with the front of house team, taking the lead on bussing tables and dish ware needs (i.e. glassware polishing, service plate ware, re-stocking, etc.) Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Experience Previous experience in the hospitality is preferred, but not required. Willing to train motivated individuals. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Experience in catering or serving is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
