Duties Prepare fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items efficiently while maintaining quality standards Engage with customers in a positive manner, taking orders accurately and upselling menu options to enhance their experience Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, payments, and cash handling Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are followed at all times, including proper food handling and cleaning procedures Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly without compromising quality Assist with food prep tasks like slicing ingredients, assembling sandwiches, and restocking supplies Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and good communication abilities Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math for transactions and sales upselling Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced environments efficiently Experience working in quick service or fast food restaurants, cafes, retail stores, or grocery environments is advantageous Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed Join us as a Sandwich Artist where your energy fuels our vibrant team!
