Booth Workers for the Washington State Fair in Puyallup!

Available dates of employment:

September 4, 2026 - September 27, 2026 (including Labor Day). Must be 16+ to apply. If you are under 18, please include a note stating your age as of 9/4/2026. This step allows us to hire and schedule in a way that complies with all labor laws for minor employees.

Job Description:

Food service, working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment! The fairgrounds are often loud and crowded, and booths may be extremely busy. Tasks will include, but are not limited to: Arrive for shift on time and follow breaks as scheduled Take customer orders quickly and accurately Take customer payments and make correct change Use cotton candy machines to spin cotton candy Clean and sanitize the work area throughout the day Follow all health department guidelines Communicate any problems or concerns with your Booth Lead or Area Manager immediately

Job Requirements:

16+ years of age Valid ID for employment Reliable transportation ( able to show up on time for all scheduled shifts ) Able to stand for long periods Able to lift up to 30 lbs Have or willing to get current food worker card Great attitude! Pay for this position is $17.25/hr plus a share in the tip pool. Must be available to attend orientation and training on Tuesday, September 1 at 2:30 pm.
