We are looking for a Salad & Prep cook. This is a full time position, with 5 shifts Tuesday-Sunday, 3pm to close. This is usually about a 35-40 hour per week position. Pay starts at $22/hr with a raise after 90 days to $23/hr + tips. Pay is twice a month, tips checks weekly. Tips are normally around $3-5/hr. Every shift includes an employee meal.

Job responsibilities:

Salad station•making salads, hot appetizers, cold appetizersPrep•slicing meats, cheese, veggies, making meatballs, sausage, salad dressings, etc.

Other responsibilities•putting away deliveries, general cleaning, dishes, floors and trash, etc.

Job Requirements:

You must be legally able to work. Must be at least 18 years old. Must have valid food handlers permit. Must speak fluent english. Needs to be able to stand on feet for long periods of time, go up and down stairs several times a night, and to be able to carry 50lbs while going up and down stairs. Must be hard working and willing to stay until the job is done. Reliable transportation is important as we are at least 1/2 mile from the nearest bus line. Must be a team player and willing to help out and stay until the job is done. You may be asked to cover the dish pit on the dishwasher's day off or during breaks. Previous kitchen experience & knife skills are a plus, but being a quick learner with a great attitude is more important.
